About the Logo: Inn Legal’s logo is inspired by the four Inns of Court, where our primary clients are based. The name Inn Legal was created during a walk through Lincoln’s Inn, honouring Lincoln’s Inn, Gray’s Inn, Middle Temple, and Inner Temple. The dot on the ‘I’ in Inn symbolises these Four Inns.
From Lincoln’s Inn, we incorporated mill rinds from the arms of Richard Kingsmill, a key figure in acquiring the Inn’s land in the sixteenth century. Gray’s Inn inspired us with the griffin from Richard Aungier’s arms, a notable Reader and Treasurer. Middle Temple’s emblem, the Lamb of God with Saint George’s Cross, influenced our design, highlighting its historical significance. The Pegasus emblem from Inner Temple, linked to Lord Robert Dudley’s 1561 Christmas revels, also shaped our logo.
These elements reflect the heritage and traditions of the Four Inns of Court, embodying the spirit that inspired Inn Legal. The orange in our logo represents creativity, determination, and success, while the black symbolises professionalism and power.
